These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of pirandaikadai.com. By using this Website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Products & Descriptions
We strive to display accurate product descriptions, images, and prices. However, since our products are handmade and natural, slight variations in colour, texture, and appearance may occur between batches. These variations are inherent to handcrafted products and are not considered defects. We reserve the right to modify product offerings, pricing, and availability at any time without prior notice.
3. Ordering & Payment
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Orders are confirmed only after payment is received (for online payments) or when we send an order confirmation (for Cash on Delivery). Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment methods accepted include UPI, credit cards, debit cards, net banking, wallets (via Razorpay), and Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible orders. COD orders may be subject to an additional handling charge.
4. Shipping & Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 1-3 business days of order confirmation. Delivery timelines depend on your location and the shipping carrier. Estimated delivery is 5-10 business days for most locations within India. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control. Shipping charges apply as displayed at checkout. Orders above ₹500 qualify for free shipping within India. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
5. Returns & Refunds
Please refer to our separate Refund Policy page for detailed information on returns, refunds, and exchanges. In summary, we accept returns within 7 days of delivery for damaged or incorrect items. Perishable food products cannot be returned once opened, unless defective.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website — including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, product names, and designs — is the property of Swarna Vadivelan and is protected by Indian intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
7. User Accounts
When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your phone number, OTP, and account activity. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our products are traditional health food and wellness items based on Siddha medicine traditions. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Individual results may vary. Consult a healthcare professional before using any health products, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition. Products are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swarna Vadivelan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or purchase of products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
