Refund & Return Policy

At Pirandai Kadai, customer satisfaction is our priority. Since our products are handcrafted and many are perishable food items, please review our return and refund policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Returns are accepted in the following cases:
Damaged in Transit: If the product arrives damaged, broken, or in a condition that is significantly different from what was described. You must report damage within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
Wrong Product: If you receive a product different from what you ordered, we will replace it at no additional cost or issue a full refund.
Quality Issues: If the product has a genuine quality defect (unusual odour, contamination, or spoilage before expiry date), contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return: food products that have been opened, consumed, or partially used; products damaged due to misuse, improper storage, or customer negligence; items where the return request is made after 7 days from delivery; and products purchased during sale or with a coupon discount (exchange only, no refund).
3. How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, contact us within 48 hours of delivery via WhatsApp at +91 78458 70349 or email at info@pirandaikadai.com. Please include your order number, photographs of the product and packaging clearly showing the issue, and a brief description of the problem. Our team will review your request and respond within 24 hours with next steps.
4. Refund Process
Once your return is approved:
Online Payments (Razorpay): Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. Bank processing times may add an additional 3-5 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
Cash on Delivery: Refunds for COD orders will be processed via bank transfer (NEFT/UPI) to your provided bank account within 7-10 business days.
5. Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order before it is shipped by contacting us via WhatsApp or email. Once the order has been dispatched, cancellation is not possible and the return policy will apply. For online payments, cancelled orders will be refunded to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
6. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for damaged or wrong products at no additional cost. If the original product is out of stock, we will issue a full refund instead. Exchange requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.
7. Shipping Costs for Returns
If the return is due to our error (wrong product, damaged in transit, or quality issue), we will bear the return shipping cost. For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
